Same ol'...

Apparently Andrew is still doing things and posting on here. I said I would too. It's been a while: I'm not even sure what year the last one was. When you know Andrew, time becomes an irrelevance. It's like Purgatory, but without the vague sense of hope.

The thought of Andrew in the Grand Canyon is an awe-inspiring one. I remember thinking just the same once in the 90s when walking with Andrew on the edge of the Grand Canyon. But on this occasion I see he found his way to the valley floor by more gradual means, much like the Colorado river, boring its way through the Earth's crust over millennia. Thanks to Andrew we all have some idea how the Earth's crust feels about this.
